Edmonds, WA

A successful pitless waterfall installation was completed at a residential property. The project involved replacing an existing pond with a more low-maintenance feature. The homeowners desired a system that required minimal upkeep, and the pitless waterfall design was an ideal solution.

The installation process began with the removal of the old pond, including the liner and any existing components. The crew then prepared the site for the new pitless tank, filling in the area and compacting the soil around it. A hose was connected to the waterfall starter, and the sidewalls of the tank were ensured to be at a sufficient height to prevent water overflow.

Once the tank was in place, the crew applied a felt liner, rubber liner, and rocked the area. The team also considered the potential for debris buildup in a traditional rock pit and recommended the pitless system for its easier maintenance.

Upon completion, the waterfall was functional, with water flowing smoothly over the rocks. The homeowners were pleased with the new feature, and it is expected to provide years of enjoyment with minimal maintenance.
