Pitless Waterfall installation in Oak Harbor, Washington.
The rebuilding of a broken pond into an amazing Pitless Waterfall feature took around 8 hours with a team of 3 Pond Rockers.
The landscaping of this densely planted yard in Oak Harbor Washington was the ultimate demise of a beautify pond constructed years ago. As a result the home owners wanted a solution that would last with less maintenance. They decided to go with a Pitless Waterfall system.
Waterfall Details
This waterfall is a 9 foot drop and has 20 feet of stream with a starter creek reservoir. It has three unique falls that creatively turn to 45 degrees until it spills into an underground Pitless Waterfall tank. Large boulders line the top, sides, and bottom of the stream bed with accent lighting for full effect during evening hours.
Project Details
The project was challenging as the waterfall is in the back yard and access was very limited. The gate has a narrow path that required the smaller excavator, and made the muck trucks essential.
The home owners provided pizza for lunch and said “We love it!” when they examined the finished project.
